This week
It's been a while since I posted. We went to New York for the weekend, so I didn't have time! Things have been going pretty well. I went for treatment to a lymphedema therapist, and her theory is that I have cording in my arm (scar tissue) that's interrupting the lymph vessels. We just need to break up the cording, and my lymphedema will get better. I'm not even sure I had cellulitis before. I had some redness in my arm last week, the day after chemo, which I think was an allergic reaction. I'm pretty sure that's what it was before, too. Last week's chemo was more harsh than usual; I got Zometa and a flu shot, so by Thursday I was feeling kind of yucky and running a low-grade fever. Went to New York anyway, and by Saturday I was feeling better. I just hope it was all because of the flu shot. I hate that the chemo makes me feel sick.

Glad to know you went to NY and had a good time. Let us know what's next so we can follow along with you every step of the way.
Rachel, I look for your updates religiously and am glad to hear that things are progressing in a positive way. I think of you often and keep you in my daily prayers. G-d bless ! - Cecelia
When you don't blog for a while, it means that you are busy living a normal life; that cancer concerns have taken a back seat to happier stuff. That makes me extremely happy!
Hope the lymphadema maven's predictions come true. I know there's a woman in Philly who brings patients in from all over the region; hope she's the woman you are seeing.
Love,
Mina
