Couldn't feel the edge of my liver

Got the full report from the CT today - all good news! The tumors that were in my lungs are all gone. The liver tumors are significantly smaller - so much that Dr. Glick said that you could see on the scan from across the room that it had improved. The bone lesion, on my upper chest, is stable - which is good because he said it takes longer for bone to heal, so the best thing to expect is that it remain stable. The lymph nodes in my abdomen have gotten smaller. And on physical exam, he could not feel the edge of my liver!

The plan is to continue on this course without change. We'll probably do a CT again in 2-3 months.

I find it interesting - the October magazines in the waiting room are all filled with pink breast cancer ads and articles about breast cancer risk, etc etc. And yet, in the cancer center itself, there is no pink. There is no recognition of breast cancer month. It's business as usual. Every month is breast cancer awareness month there. While in some ways it's sad, it mostly makes me feel relieved. In highly ironic fashion, finally, here's a place where I can escape from the pink barrage of breast cancer awareness.
