Think good thoughts tonight and tomorrow morning
Tomorrow is the CT scan. I have to drink the oral contrast this time. Dr. Glick said as long as I'm feeling well, they may as well get a clear picture of my insides. I'm about 99% sure that it will show that the tumors have shrunk. But there's always that one percent fear. I do a daily self-exam - of my liver. When I was in last week, Carrie couldn't feel my liver at all, and Dr. Glick only found one little edge. So the trajectory has been continually going down, the liver getting smaller. There is a chance, he said, that it could go away altogether. Permanent and complete remission. Isn't that what we all were praying for a few months ago? Let's all do a big prayer (or whatever religious or non-religious form you choose) tonight in preparation for the scan!
The LifetimeTV. com blog is a definite YES. I will start blogging for them on October 1. I've been writing some entries in advance, which is why I've been neglecting this blog. I don't want to use up all my ideas! Still, I will try to update this blog, too, during October. And once I know how to find the Lifetime blog, I'll let you all know!

Remission. What a beautiful word. You can count on prayers and positive thoughts from me. You are a blogger-extraordinaire; lots of good luck with LifetimeTV.
Wow Rachel...we have EVERYTHING crossed over here and are sending powerful prayers and thoughts you way. I have such a good feeling but don't want to and won't jinx anything. Can't wait for the Lifetime blogs to start. Let's all reserve the first few rows at some awards show down the road cuz I totally see that for you, girl!!!!
Sleep well my dear cuz, sleep well...
Barb
Not seeing new blog entries is a good sign. It means you're busy living your life. I believe that "no news is good news," and you're proving it!
Looking forward to very few entries.

I am doing the Novena tonight! One month after your birthday. Everything is going to be great - LifetimeTV is the "cherry on the top".
Cool. I knew you'd be a famous writer some day.
