Out, damned drain!

Drain: Hey what's up?
Me: Bah-bye.

I must say that I was very glad to have Nurse Nancy yank that drain out from under my arm. She was great - had me breathe in deeply, and when I held my breath, she pulled. It burned and stung a bit, but it mostly just felt wonderful to have it not be tethered to me anymore. She also, bless her heart, removed those stinky steri-strips from under my arm. She is my favorite person of the day!
