The big three-five
I always try to do something memorable for my birthday. That way, each year stands out as unique and distinct, and, especially as I get older, it prevents each birthday from blending into the previous ones. For example, last year was the year I got to meet Alec Baldwin. There was the year I got a tattoo. The year I went backpacking in the California wilderness. The year I did the Mrs. T's triathlon in Chicago.
And I know that, in the years to come, I will look back on this birthday, and it will be, simply, the year I had cancer.

Dear Rachel,
You are an amazing writer!
We loved visiting Lenny in Santa Fe for 5 days. Good news, he bought a cute house on Friday! We are thrilled for him.
