Squashed it like a bug
Need I say more? The CT scan showed nothing - no tumor, no nodes, no nuthin! It worked. It WORKED!! I feel like I'm still in shock from the good news, almost don't believe it, and maybe I'm not quite ready to put my guard down yet because I'm so afraid of the post-good-news-bad-news syndrome that has plagued me before. But I think this is the real deal! And radiation therapy will come in and burn the heck out of anything that might be left... that starts officially on November 28 and will go for 7-8 weeks. They're pretty much zapping everything in and around my left breast, but that's fine with me. Next step, before radiation, is to have my alternately loved and hated port removed; this will happen on Thursday. Yay!
Ok. I'm going to go collapse now.

so, your dream, back in June, was was right on target!!!!!!!!
Great job!
Deep, heavy sigh of relief!!! Still afraid to let go of a little itty bit of fear -- but that's my nature. Your sense of humor, of irony etc. have helped you through these past months.
May you soon have days in which you don't "think pink."
Love,
Mina
