Alaska here. Sending you a little, well rain mixed with snow, a light breeze and a hug. Just returned from California. Spent most of the week (including a few crummy nights) at Cedars Sinai. My Grandma was admitted 3 times in 10 days...
Delirium is a trip.
Hospitals are not so hospitable.
Patients must be patient.
Vitals ain't so vital.
Sleep is medicine.
Doctors are not gods!
Or was that dogs??
Nurses come with wings
Or all to often horns
The numbers game...
is not so fun as other games
You can add all the flavor you want
But Ensure is still liquid vitagrit
Thank heavens for the support of "family"!!
I regret that I have not been reading here since '05. Actually, today is my 2nd time ever visiting a blog sight. Very busy these days with the Yoga gig. Tomorrow, all of my teaching, my practice, my thoughts, breath and blood are dedicated to you.
Much Love across the miles,

Svia

Thinking about you. Sara and I look forward to another lunch when you're back home. We'll all drink Ensure if that's all on your menu.

We miss you--

I'M FAMOUS!!!! A blog dedicated to ME, Mina! Such an honor -- one that I would gladly forego.

You're right, it's no fun being in the hospital for an extended period of time; even the best accommodations get old real fast.

Keep your eye on the prize: Your goal is to stay alive and well so that you can take advantage of whatever scientific advances are coming down the pike.

I just celebrated a "major" birthday and I hope that you will celebrate that birthday yourself some day.

Lots of love from the Left Coast where people feel free to be themselves and to express their beliefs on their bumper stickers!
