Upswi-- (sh! don't jinx it!)

The past few days have been pretty good. I've found myself with an appetite, with some more stamina, with a slightly easier ability to breathe. I still get tired, but that seems inevitable. Not to mention the bloody noses. At any rate, my "100%" has risen again. I know that next week, after chemo, it won't be as high, but I'm enjoying the upswing right now.

When I'm feeling better, it's so easy to be positive. When I'm feeling yuck, it's so easy to start falling into the pit. So it is really good to have this respite so I can see that it will be waiting for me on the other side of the next chemo round.

Still checking the blog daily, Rachel, and still saying your Hebrew name in synagogue every Shabbat morning during prayers for healing.

Keep enjoying the good moments and hoping for many more of them.

Very glad to see this post! I hope this means the new chemo drugs are starting to work, in addition to your platelet count getting better. Thinking of you all the time.
Love,
Maren
